The man spoke to the woman

And the woman returned with a response

He asked her for a cube of sugar

And she said that she had none

The man spoke to the woman

And yet another response

He asked for her hand in marriage

And she said to get along

The man spoke to the woman

And again, she replied

He asked why so negative 

And she said she had too much pride
